ASCE ORANGE COUNTY BRANCH YOUNGER MEMBER FORUM (OC YMF)
|
What kind of activities can I look forward to in OC YMF?
Career Development, Networking, Social Activities, and Student and Community Outreach are
only a few aspects of OC YMF. For Career Development and Networking activities, we have
our annual PE Review Course for the October PE Exam and our Bi-monthly Speaker Series.
Social events range from Happy Hours, Wine Tasting Trips, Baseball Night and many, many
more. To outreach to the community and students, we have Rebuilding Together, Soup
Kitchen Volunteers, High School Visits, and the Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition to just to
name a few.
What are the requirements for membership?
The only requirement for membership in OC YMF is that you have to be a national member of
ASCE and are 35 years of age or younger. However, we do have a no ask policy. If you are
young at heart, you can join any of our activities.
Who are the Board members?
Can I attend the monthly Board Meetings?
All members are welcome to the monthly Board meetings we have on the third Tuesday of
each month at Diaz Yourman & Associates. It is a great opportunity to meet the Board
members and fellow YMFers. If you want to get more involved or just want to know what is
going on with OC YMF, please join us. We provide dinner at these meetings!
I want to attend the meetings. Get directions!
